Various hardware classes are available with PSS 4000. Real-time Ethernet SafetyNET p is used for networking and communication.

In future it will also be possible to program the programmable logic controllers (PLC) in the main EN/IEC 61131-3 languages for standard and safety tasks. PAS IL (Instruction List) is already available. In future there will also be a graphics editor.

… can be used as stand-alone control systems or can be integrated in the system network with PSSuniversal PLC, PSSuniversal I/O and network components. They are suitable for applications on machines or smaller plants. They are configured and programmed using the graphics Program Editor PASmulti.

Ethernet infrastructure components PSSnet can be used to adapt the network topology flexibly to your plant playout. These components enable topologies such as star, tree and ring structure. Thanks to the use of various media such as fibre optics, network limits can now be expanded without problem.

The rotary encoders PSENenco are used to determine position and speed in the automation system PSS 4000. These are absolute encoders, which supply diverse, absolute position values.
